We had our first evening of VBS last night at Trenton church of Christ. This seems to be a dying event in our churches, but ours still seems to be healthy. We had 336 at our first night which seems to be a little down from last year, but still pretty good. I believe we have around 100 volunteer teachers, aids, drama folks and singer types so that makes about 250 kids. Lord willing we will grow each night as we have in the past and get closer to the 400 mark by Wednesday. My wife Sue is doing crafts, I am singing and our boys are enjoying the experience. Feel free to drop by any of the next three nights (6-8:30) as we have classes for all ages and it is all free.

About Me
- Name: Steve Baggett
- Location: Taylor, Michigan, United States
I've been married to the love of my life, Sue, for fourteen years and we have two sons Steven (eleven) and Samuel (eight). Samuel received a heart transplant when he was two months old. You can read more of his story at his donor family's web-site Claine's Corner. I love all kinds of Christian music and my CD collection has grown to over 500. I'm part of an acappella Christian group called breadbox. We attend an awesome church called the Trenton church of Christ. I enjoy most sports including golf, softball and bowling and I watch baseball, football, hockey and basketball.
